I join the Executive Committee in encouraging all eligible Nepalis to join ANAA. Whether you have completed privately funded study in Australia or participated in an Australian Government-funded study opportunity, such as under the Australia Awards program, you will be warmly welcomed into ANAA. It’s a great organization which helps alumni to build personal and professional networks as  well as maintain close connections to Australia. And I look forward to meeting you at events  organized by ANAA in cooperation with the Australian Embassy! 

I value the important role played by Nepali alumni in raising the profile of Australia’s world class  education system and strengthening ties between Australia and Nepal. The Australian government  regards highly the contribution that alumni make to fostering thriving people-to-people links. As the  Nepali community in Australia grows, alumni are an ever more important bridge between Nepali  diaspora and their country of origin, supporting business connections and investments as well as development initiatives. 

I commend ANAA as a platform for alumni to connect with likeminded professionals in Nepal,  Australia and worldwide. I, and my team at the Australian Embassy, are delighted to work closely  with ANAA to support the alumni community now and into the future.
